Legislature Passes Bill Allowing Off-Duty Officers to Carry Firearms on School Grounds
Both houses of the Legislature have passed a bill to make exceptions to
the “gun-free school zones” law. Assembly
Bill 46/Senate
Bill 70 would allow off-duty, former, and out-of-state officers to carry
firearms on school grounds. The bill is now awaiting the Governor’s signature.
